We are loud, lively, warm, familiar... We are Sicilia and we are very happy to be part of your neighborhood here in the area around Savignyplatz. As a restaurant with a wine bar, we offer space for a cozy evening with modern Italian specialties, a place at the bar for a relaxed glass of wine and a private room for private dinners or celebrations.  Some see us as a trendy restaurant, others see Sicilia as their private dining room - everything is possible and everyone is welcome.

From the outside, we are a young and diverse team, but our hearts beat together for our restaurant Sicilia. From service to the kitchen, a variety of characters make sure that our guests have a good time.

Yannick Kern

Yannick discovered his passion for gastronomy during his first job at the Atlantic Hotel in Bremen. A great luck for him and the guests, because he is a great host. After completing his hotel management education at the renowned Waldorf Astoria Berlin, he stayed there for another three years to become an expert bartender by working at the bar. Then he moved to the Kurpfalz Weinstuben to deepen his knowledge of wine. Shortly afterwards, he was hired as a sommelier and host at the restaurant on Steinplatz. Now at the Sicilia, he can realize his own ideas and visions.

Marc Hammer

You're never too young to fulfill big dreams. With this attitude, Marc Hammer has already become an experienced chef in his mid-twenties. He started out in the former fine dining restaurant Reinhard's on Ku'damm, then went on to starred cuisine under Sonja Frühsammer and his first chef positions at S/O Das Stue and Torbar. At Sicilia, he will now prepare culinary delights for guests - with Mediterranean influences, Berlin charm and a colorful team with whom he develops creative ideas. La dolce vita is just the beginning...
